" but now maybe there won't be those "one-off" tiny twin turbo motors that destroy the N/A cars."

Larry, you are exactly right, you can play with some good examples and see where the cars end up. Roy Chong's car is an example, Norm G's car is another, any of the 2.1l twin turbos in early chassis are a third. I'm excited to see what happens.

Default 3.4 996

What did they mean by changes to ABS? Does that have to do w/ disabling psm in the case of the 996. I'm still thinking of running an 3.4 996. What do people do about the psm in those cars; can it be turned off?

I'm not sure how this affects my car yet. When I go to 4.0l that may push me to the bottom of GT2 or I'll have to add weight to stay in GT3. Neither of these are options I like and I may be rethining my 4.0l engine this winter. At least it gives cars like mine a wider class of cars to run with, I think GT2R was getting pretty thin.

The PI rules are interesting ...

Our GT6 356 at current weight can run a 2.27L at 205+ hp motor or drop weight to ~#1400 w/ drover to stay in class. Either option is "very" attractive and I think would put a push-rod / swing axle car in and amongst much more "modern" machinery

and ...

Our GT3 class '73 IROC at current weight w / drover can increase displacement to 3.8L and potentially run a 425 hp motor, or keep 3.4L and add #200 to be tops in GT4. In essence, if we do nothing for weight [car is stripped to "n" th already ... we can pick up 50+ hp running a 3.8L. Nice early x-mas present

To bad we prolly won't do either as other sanctioning bodies we primarily run with won't allow the "displacement" game.

So what will you be doing with your 3.6?
