Yes you do. I'm going to miss running with some of my old buddies.

I don't think there is a missing page. These are just the changes and item 24 says the table at the end of the document is to explaine the 4 classes going to 6.

A couple of comments from the chair:
1) This was a ton of work, done almost exclusively by Donna Amico.
Donna is owed a big thank you from everyone connected with PCA club racing. Racers, mechanics, stewards and scrutineers all had input into the changes but it was left to Donna to meld their comments into a comprehensible format, accompanied by her personal comments to the rules committee on what seemed to make the most sense. Thanks, Donna!
2) We balanced safety (full cages) against our goal of trying to keep the entrance bar for PCA club racing as low as possible for drivers currently participating in DE and wanting to go racing with somewhat minimal preparation and low cost (ie. roll bars). We think that we've walked a line between the two but for almost all cars in PCA club racing after January 1, 2008, full roll cages will be required. If a current DE participant wants to dip their toe into club racing with their streetable roll bar equiped car, go for it but realize you'll need to make a change to a full cage after four races.
3) Head and neck restraints - We have had few serious injuries in PCA club racing's history. However, several of the more serious injuries occurred in cars that had full cages but in drivers who were not wearing head and neck restraints. In two cases, those drivers owned restraints but were not wearing them. The cost of a head and neck restraint is less than the cost of a set of tires and can be easily sold if a new racer decides they don't want to continue racing. We've given a window until June 1st to allow them to be phased in, in case of supply problems but please don't wait until the last minute to purchase one.
4) The class flip was needed as we were running out of classes at the front of the alphabet as the factory continues to produce more capable cars. And, yes, it is an intelligence test, at least until the rule book comes out. To help, J and K are now A, I is now B, etc.
5) The final page is the print out of the current recodification of the B-D classes. The other stock classes are not changing, other than relettering. The full chart of classes will be in the rule book when it comes out. If you need to see a chart to figure out what your class letter is, see my comment #4.
Regards and have fun racing!

I'm looking forward to the new GT class structure, it is going to be interesting. I like the flexibility the structure adds. Consider the following
3.4l 2300lbs 74-89 chassis (with driver and stuff) = GT3 at PI of 614
3.7l (3.8rsr engine is 3746cc) 2500lbs 90-98 chassis (with driver and stuff) = GT3 at PI of 614
So, the 3.4l engine car can reduce the displacement to say 3.0l and move to GT4 at PI of 696 or increase weight and remain 3.4l and move to GT4.
It seems like this gives lots of options to react to the rules changes. Nice to have options.

Hmmm...
With the new PI, I go from GT2s to GT3s. I hope I'm doing the math right. Anyone mind checking me.
Weight with me in the car =2665#
279 RWHP
3.8 L. 1992 964 .
I get a PI of 638 which puts me in the middle of GT3 at 551-675
Am I correct or am I missing something?
