Although I'm really disappointed that it's the 1.7 vs. the 3.1, I'll be there. I want the seat time either way. I will also be at TWS the week before and ECR in Nov and TWS again in Dec. Probably will be in divorce court in Jan.

Hi Keith. I'll definitely be there for the Oct DE at MSR. The 1.7 is a blast too.

Hey, I've spent a lot of time on both & I still think the 1.7 flows much better. It drives like a much larger track & reminds me more of the larger venues we run at plus it has to be one of the best learning tracks in the country. I feel very fortunate to have cut my teeth on it. I'm considering running the Oct. event BECAUSE we are running the 1.7

Interesting perspective Jay, I'll try to look at it that way too. I'm only disappointed because I have not yet gotten to experience the 3.1 and was looking forward to that. I'll catch up with it sooner or later. Hope to get to meet you there.

Regards,

Steve,
Sounds good! I keep the car in the "Barry Bungalow" @ TOPP Racing. I'm sure we'll be over there in the evenings. Stop by & hoist a few w/us.

Steve, be careful over there. That's where the CCM (cup car mafia) hangs out. Next thing you know, you'll be buying a cup car and then you will be divorced...

No doubt. He had me almost convinced that I should just drop a Cup Car motor in my RSA. And he made it sound so reasonable....

Had to dig to find this thread!

Anyone know what time MSR opens and closes for dropoff this Friday? I'm trailering up from Austin Friday afternoon and if I can get there before dark, I'd like to unload.

Thanks

Steve,

Friday is a Member's Day, the track is open all day. The front gates are supposed be locked at 10PM, you shouldn't have any problems dropping off your car.
