I definitely have to try that line the next time that I am there. I should have my data logger working and will be able to see how much better it is.
As far as the esses, I really think that there is more speed there for you. In my GT3 I used to do a decent lift before #1, power through 1 & 2, a lesser lift for #3, and then full power again for 3 & 4. The car is quite stable under power that way, and you really get to South Bend in a hurry.

I'll bet that you were probably going at least 5 mph faster by the time you got to the first esse though.
