There is a 996 Cup and a spec Miata available for rental if someone wants to run either for the DE this weekend. FYI...

I talked to Stuart on Saturday, but didn't get to ride with him. I lucked out and got Steve Hill as my advanced instructor. He was excellent as a driver and as a coach. I was duly impressed.

I took a session with him in his GT3 RS. I felt like I was getting CPR everytime he hit the brakes they gripped so tight. After we were done, he mentioned that he was only going 7/8-10ths so I wouldn't puke on his leather. Truth is, I was more worried about my @ss eating my underwear from puckering so hard.

Cool. He & Steve were pretty much the fastest drovers out there, and Steve (who is an excellent drover & all around great guy) has 150 HP on Stu.

Greg, yes he will.

Glen, see you soon!

Well gents, I'm here. Or somewhere at least if the Best Western Granbury qualifies as somewhere. It's odd to not see a parking lot full of Porsches like I'm used to at the Manor House.

Yesterday, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to make it. I bent over to pick something up, and my back locked up. I could barely walk. Went to a massage therapist, took some muscle relaxants, and things were a little better this morning. Miraculously, the four hour drive up here, with the seat heaters turned on max, seems to have done the trick. I can walk like a 70 yo man instead of the 95yo I looked like yesterday.

I'm in my Seal Grey 997S, #455, with a HWFMR sign on the hood. I'm going to put up a pop-up shade at the track. Stop by if you have the chance.

I hope my car doesn't fall apart tomorrow . Every time I thought I was done something else would pop up, but I think I really am done this time.

That's because all of the kool kidz stay in Benbrook! Whatcha doin out in the sticks?

Look for me in the silver BMW M Coupe. The elf hearse. I'll be out there putting around in it because my wife has threatened me with things worse than death if I hurt her car. She keeps reminding me that I broke mine.
