That is better placement but probably not enough venting. Also, I don't want to put slats directly in the fiberglass fenders. I want to have a part I install similar to what Pete posted.
I think the best solution is to get Mahlers9th to make me a set. But he won't even make himself a set. So I may just open up a section in the fender right behind the wheel arch. Similar to what is seen here:

Vision Motorsport in orange county actually has some nice carbon fiber ones now. I've seen them on 993, Boxster, and Cayman.

Are you allowed to run a 935 style fender? Totally open at the rear. Agreed on the vents being positioned further back. Also the front louvre should be steeper than those behind it in general terms.
