Default How many track days do you get out of your rotors??

Just curious to hear about the experience of others. How long do your rotors last? What kind of pads are you using?? Are you replacing the fronts more often than the rears or do you get even wear??

Run slotted rotors. Last Much longer than drilled for obvious reasons.

Reggie I tried a set of Cyrogenically frozen cup rotors and found them to last significantly longer than stock. I was skeptical at first, but that set lasted about 12 races which is phenominal in a cup and my brakes are always smoking when I come in. The treatment is not expensive, but you have to ship them to someplace in the South IIRC....

Another trick is to stay the hell off them in your cool down lap including into the pits. I will even take a short drive down a side road or through the pits to get some cool air onto them before I shut it down. We use 19-yellow front, blacks rears.....

Rain forecast Friday, so I'll see you Saturday....

I got about a dozen days on cheap cross-drilled before cracks required early retirement.

I got 24 days on my last set of factory 993 rotors. Then the cracks got out to the edge.
