Have people sent applications to this already? I see on the web site that "Applications will not be accepted if postmarked prior to the date registration opens" and that date is next Monday, March 5. I planned to mail then. Have I screwed up already?

Tech Tactics is a different event. This thread is about the Hudson Valley and Hudson Champlain Regions of the PCA annual Advanced Drivers Education event ("Cups & Saucers") at Watkins Glen to be held Wednesday and Thursday, May 16-17, 2007.

Chris, Registration is open and we are accepting applications. If you have already sent yours in, it will be accepted. Sorry for the confusion.

Hey Geoffrey

I just realized that I sent mine in too early as well. Didn't see the 3/5 date until today. Oops.

Thanks, Geoffrey. I filled it out yesterday and left it home, planning to mail on Monday. I hope I will get in.

While we're on the topic of Hudson Valley Region D.E., HVR is at Lime Rock on March 29. If you are signed up for CVR the following day, you can expand your driving experience by joining HVR on 3/29.

If you haven't been to a Hudson Valley Region event, I promise that you will find it a fun experience. Lou, the D.E. chair, strives to maximize seat time for all participants.

Come, enjoy!

P.S.: Geoffrey, see you tomorrow?

First of all...this event is not sold out ...yet. Second ..if you would postmark your entries no sooner tha 3/5 it would be appreciated(my registrar is already VERY busy).
Don't miss this event, it is the DE of the year.

Marty,

Hudson Valley Region's V.P. started this thread by announcing that registration for the event was "open", so I've already mailed by application to Patti. If I've "jumped the gun", I apologize.

I was waiting for 3/5 myself, but when I saw this thread announcing registration was open, I jumped right on it and sent it out. On the bright side, this may help ease the "mail center" into the flood of applications

Try Jeff Burger, he has some extra 18s. His contact info is on the HVR site.
