On a side note, I'm sorry we didn't get to meet at VIR I stopped by a couple of times but you may have out with a student.

Jamie, thanks for trying to look me up! I did seem to stay busy at the event....and times DOES fly when you are having a good time! Next time we will hook up!

Arlene, I read the post that way at first also, but I think he means for people who join the Country Club. I'm hoping it will be similar to VIR, where Country Club members have about 20 days dedicated to them, with the rest of the season available to the Pros, Marque Clubs, schools, etc.

I think it was a bit confusing the way that I wrote my original post. The track will be reserved for 'club members' (that is members of the track itself) for 20 days or so. The rest of the season will be for car clubs and spectator events. There should be quite a few days available for PCA events. Club info. (joining the track that is) should be posted of thier web site soon for those interested.

Bull....I'm sure there will be lots more oppurtunities. TIme at the track does indeed fly.

That would be great in itself! It would be nice to be able to keep my foot on the brake pedal in some of the braking zones!

Charlie,
For some reason I thought the planning board was last Friday. It does make more sense that it would be a Monday rather than a Friday evening. I'll look for some word in the AC Press in the morning.

Hi Jamie,

Happy to help. Andreas said he got a kick out of meeting you.

Yeah, it would be really cool if we could all do some track event. Don't worry; I still do DE's.

An hour or so from my house? This is very exciting!

I looked at the VIR website for info on club membership. I wonder how that works in practice. For non-VA residents it's $100/month and track days run $150/day for Friday through the weekend. I'd sure like to hear from someone who has done such a day there and can explain how it differs from a PCA event.

Mark,
Lets try for that come April! Love some feedback on your motons, the wing and the splitters. Looking forward to checking it all out and picking your brain in the spring. Andreas caught me full of energy on my way back from VIR so he got the full blown version of me.

Chris,
I think membership info for the Millville track should be up within the week. Here is the link to the project membership info not up as of this posting.

Jamie,

Sounds good. Haven't seen you in a while.

Andreas says you were pretty amped up from your track weekend.

Mark,

Jamie pumped at the track? I dunno, we worked tech together @ VIR in the a.m. - he only cracked three wheels while tightening lug nuts! Kidding.

BTW, I believe Jamie is now signed off for the black run group. Way to go Jamie!

Its a Go!

Click here for a link to the Atlantic City Press.

And here.

Also, I am told that Alpine Motorsports Park will have their financing in place before years end.
