Rain line during practice at RA:
First part of the track is like most others, stay off the slippery spots.
Just after the carousel your windshield will start fogging up.
You'll run across a couple of rivers after the kink, or at least they used to be there before they put in the concrete walls. At Canada your windshield will be so fogged up you'll have no idea where you are going. Just after the bridge take a hard right back into the paddock. You might get funny looks from some people, but the rain will keep them from actually walking over to talk to you. Drive back to your paddock and wait for the rain to stop.

I like this weather prediction better, too bad the weather people can't accurately predict what will happen in 30 minutes from now, much less 2 weeks...

I'm lovin' the looks of that. We haven't been below 80 for a LOW here in a couple of weeks! I better bring my heavy coat

Besides, smack talk with Lefty is good a good motivator for him!
Eric,

I think you forget that I have the faster time, but anyway it's a new year and like you said, people get faster.

Hey, while you're working on your Siebkins tales do you wish to come up with any wagers? I'm all ears! Oh I wish I had an F car...oh, hang on, I do!! It's a shiney black 964 C4. Silly me.

I'll be looking for you Eric. No more Mr. Nice Guy Sleep tight.

I'll be there & looking forward to it - I've done a couple of DEs there but this will be my first race at RA.

I'll be in #82 in E - '88 951S. My current plan is to drive the enduro solo but may be willing to buddy up with someone if they're looking for a turtle!!
Cheers,
Rick

OK, we're starting our journey today (will take 2 days to drive out from NJ - right through the remnants of Katrina - woohoo). I'm looking forward to meeting all the Rennlisters at the race, particularly my C class comrades (take it easy on me, its my first time at the track... ).

Look for the Turtle Pond just north of the Hoosier trailers on aisle 5. All are welcome, especially if they are bringing libations (after last session of the day of course)

Look for Eric and the Big Turtle's arch-nemesis, Douglas Crossman, behind car #71.

Great to see GTC-1 represented in the field I know there will be a few Nordstern memebers headed that way, this is "always" a great event.
