Hey John, Thanks for the link! That was fun. I haven't seen a perspective like that before, everything I have is from my front window. Looking forward to RA. We'll have a blast in the enduro.

Hopefully Marco Werner's writeup is good enough:

Hey - if I stop over on Saturday or Sunday do I have to be on someone's crew list to get in, or can I just drive in?
Hacker - can you recommend a cheap place in Sheboygan to stay Saturday night?

Kurt,
You should be able to just stop in (PCA card will be a plus) go to www.chicago-pca.org for the list of times the gate will be staffed. Once you have a wrist band you can come and go as you please but you need to get the wrist band from the PCA crew working the reg. Time will be listed on a PDF file on the Chicago website under club race. Sat night is the big car show at Sebkins (5 miles away from the track)
Many of the race cars will have a police escort into town at 6pm and will be on display until 9. The real racing is Sunday and Monday.

Be sure to check Plymouth, Sheboygan Falls, Keil, and Sheboygan.

There is the Pine Lodge in Sheboygan Falls (or something Pine, not sure)

Or just start calling:

Other than the American Club or The Osthoff, prices should be resonable.

If I stay at my friends house Saturday night, you could probably crash there. Just bring a sleeping bag and a pillow.

Greetings from Wyoming boys.

Looking forward to getting back to the flatlands and Road America, and passing Eric at will.
Eric's bringing in Glen as a ringer, but this wiley ol' Tortoise has got a Hare up his sleeve (or shell) too.

Should be a great weekend and a rollicking Turtle Pond. Can't wait to see you guys.

Oh yeah -- pray for rain.

Mike,
No worries, I spoke with Mr. Gatlin today. He promises to drive with only his left foot and one hand on the steering wheel (and he will probaly still be faster than me) He is feeling really bad about having to go up against the big turtle in the enduro, his sorrow will probaly cloud his driving skills.

Try and not look at my avatar Mike, it will make you crazy...

The excitement is building, a week from today we will be at Sebkins telling lies!!!

Wow, it looks like the latest list is up to about 200 racers. 70-car run groups? That's going to be cool.

This will be my first pca club race, but should be interesting coming from karts.
Just remember, Mo, no punting. Glad you made it!

No doubt, Eric.

Greetings from Wyoming boys.
Good to hear from you, stranger.

do I have to be on someone's crew list to get in, or can I just drive in?
As Eric mentioned, your PCA membership card would be good to have.

Oh no! Not those fast guys from Minnesota, again! You guys really cleaned up at Gingerman!

Joey, glad you got in.
Thanks, Bill! I'll be looking for you.

do any of you have a written description of running the track?
If anyone (except Eric) wants a copy of my notes, just send me an e-mail.

Good to see a nice Rennlist turnout. I'm sure I'll catch up with the rest of you at the track.

Joey,
I am hurt, after I sent you my Putman notes last year (and you used them against me) You dont want to share? John, RA has its own weather pattern, I am sure we will get a little wet one of the 4 days, no worries, never had a wet race there.
