911 hits 944 video
This sucks: http://privat.hihm.no/morten/video/944.mpeg
taken from this thread: http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=403978
Apparently not too much info. on it.
A different video of a Civic going off in the wet. I can't figure this one out. Must have hit some oil?

That link may not work so here is the original thread:

we discussed this ad nauseum in the 944 forums. it looks like a horrific crash and of course there were lots of "those 911 drivers" comments. personally i think it looks like a driving mistake but there is not enough details on the video to tell for sure. apparently there was talk the 944 let up just a bit in the corner, letting the 911 drift too wide into him.

This was all the 911's fault.

the 911 could have been planning his line based on the 944's line, but if it changed a little due to the 944 letting off, the 911 didn't have much room for error.
again i don't think we know enough based on the video to place blame

I had a really close call this weekend when a car spun in front of me heading track left, then snapped back across the track heading for my driver's door at a great rate of speed. The whole incident happened in a matter of seconds. It took some radical change of line and an off track excusion to avoid having a very nice car wedged into my door and the both of us off into the trees. Most all of this was instinctive - there was no time to think.
As an odd coincidence, I had a LHS front hub fail at the apex of that very same corner earlier in the weekend. There was a car following close at the time, and he needed to adjust quickly when I backed out of it to avoid loosing a wheel or worse.
Weekend DE driving can turn ugly at any time, and we need to be ready for it. There are some odd noises on the '44 tape that may have caused the driver to back off - the right thing to do. If that was the case, the 911 driver clearly missed it, and carnage resulted.
