This has become a tug of war for me. I'm kinda being torn.
I love PCA. I love everything they've done for me over the years.
They made me the driver I am.
They made me the instructor I am. They are the reason I have hundreds of new friends, even if I mostly see them in the paddock all the time. Some outside the paddock arena as well.
PCA has treated me well and I've always loved them for it. They showed me a new way of life, the track way.
It has become a huge part of MY and my family's life right now. We love it. Track, autocross, holiday parties (although I missed this years), tech, rallies, swaps, etc.
The other side, I am really not at all happy that Todd is being treated this way.
He is a friend too and I am beginning to wonder who I have been loyal to all these years.
That's a problem for me.
I've never had anything done to me or my family by PCA like what they're doing to Todd right now.
I do feel his pain, and I do understand that he is standing on principal, and for that I am proud of him.
I feel pulled in both directions concerning PCA right now.
Not sure why I needed to post this, but that's how I feel. Torn.

You can always speak with your wallet to force them to adjust the rudder.

I certainly understand how you feel. I would say that there are a lot of great people in PCA and they are the ones you interact with the most. The number of people were there are issues is really small in the club and even in the management of it. I agree that it's really easy to this cloud PCA as a whole, but I would suggest separating the problems from the great people. Keep the great people around and hopefully this causes some change in PCA for the better. Sometimes the rudder makes small inputs to keep the ship on course and sometimes it takes a full lock movement, but you don't jump ship until it's sinking.
I was originally boycotting PCA as a whole, but a bunch of CVR members said that by refusing to drive with CVR I was "boycotting your friends and the people who support you."
I'm still really conflicted, but I am trying to separate my loyalty to my region, who are supporting me like champs, and National, who are treating me pretty unfairly. A good portion of my friends, even those who I see outside of the track, are now connected with PCA. If not, I would have just walked away
I was told that the PCA executive council and BOD would discuss my matter at PCA Parade in two weeks. In between staying at a nice hotel, having nice meals, and walking around waving to PCA members, I hope that they remember the members who are paying for their trip, even if we are nothing more than an inconvenience to them when we think for ourselves.
Thanks again for the support and maybe my situation makes them listen.

One read of this thread and the other thread I started a few weeks back about car counts at VIR... PCA Club Racing (and others) is in trouble because people ARE voting with their wallets. incidents like this do not help their cause. I'd try to work with the driver and resolve these kinds of things PRIVATELY before they need to become PUBLIC.
This kind of thing should never happen. If MY doctor says I"M fit to drive, I'm racing with someone. And things like this will force drivers to have a discussion with their physician about what to put on a form, especially if something as simple as a CPAP machine can cause a driver to have his license pulled. This is a VERY BAD LOOK on PCA Club Racing and could have (and should have) been avoided. WE ARE ALL PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! Don't lose sight of this PCA.

Drifting
Cool my grandpa had a Tricycle 2 front wheel Farmall he restored long ago, I think a H so same decade as your A. I got to drive it a couple times with help when I was like 10ish. My second cousin still brings up occasionally how he almost killed himself doing a wheelie in it... don't do that lol.

Tractors? Anything other than John Deere is just wrong.

Three Wheelin'
As we joke about tractor racing … there are Porsche tractors of course. And at Rennsport, one of the most popular races is the Porsche tractor race. Not sure about the licensing req’s though.
