Well, now you're making common sense based assumptions about what the principals behind PCA will do which is quite contrary to the testimony in this very thread...

Default DE medical forms

Actually, for 2024, when registering on motorsports reg for DEs, with Potomac, there are a series of questions on your medical status like do you have any condition that might make you pass out, and any other misc conditions

will get the actual wording when im on my desktop.

I understand the concern, but there a huge number of people in PCA DE leadership roles across the country who would strongly oppose doing something which would kill PCA DE. Not gonna happen.

Here it is:

I think this is appropriate, and the same could be used for club racing.

Technically, shouldn’t we all answer “no” to this question? I think just the fact that we’re getting up to the speeds we reach render us as having diminished mental capacity, no?

Or we should answer "No" because anyone who wants to go fast in loops on a track, at risk of crashing, clearly has some screws loose.

Yes, exactly, yet no one Evers answers that “yes”on MSR or CR.
That’s kinda the premise of this whole thread.
Luigi seems to be a target here, yet the rest of us lie when registering for an event.
The more I read of this thread, the more I see and agree with Todd and what he’s doing.
I honestly thought he was nuts when he started this thread. That train of thought has changed significantly since…

The fact is that they did ask for it, so the horse is out of the barn, and the potential for liability is there in this specific case. The fact that nobody can prove that somebody is taking their meds, or using their CPAP isn't really relevant, an organization can set the standards of what they consider to be reasonable evidence of taking meds or using CPAP, and they've covered their legal liability (if the individual sends them fake made-up data, the liability is on that individual, not the organization).

It's still not clear to me what specifically they are asking for. If it's a month of data, I don't see that as onerous and I'd jump through that hoop and move on. If it's continual data, that is an ongoing hassle, but I'd still submit the past data and then lobby for a change of policy.
I agree with Peter. The data is definitely there and it's not hard to access nor send. I understand the OP is trying to make a point, and I agree with him. That being said, this isn't a particularly difficult thing to supply. Give them the data, get back to racing, then continue to push the issue.

I was at Lime Rock today as was Luigi. I did not see any in car footage or even follow when he was on track, but I checked his cars at the end of the day. They had no marks on them and no one was reported to have fallen asleep while driving.
