PCA medical committee revoked my race license

Luigi, you good with the 3 shots pre-race? Matt will gladly be your personal barrister and serve you in the hot pits. I've had his espresso at the track. I guarantee you will stay awake through the race.

You're on to something here. Please email Dr Kringy about this idea.

I bring either a Nespresso or Outin Nano (battery powered espresso maker that looks like a thermos) to the track.
I wonder if I need to disclose espresso use?

- The Espresso machine collects data on the caffeine and sugar content of that specific served portion
- The cup captures data on how much espresso was consumed and at what rate over specific time
- That dose/rate data is captured for 30 days and presented to the Medical Committee
- The DOT has established an acceptable standard for espresso consumption by Long Haul Truckers (LHT), and:
- The dose/rate data falls within those established DOT LHT espresso standards

It uses nespresso pods, runs of a rechargeable battery, and will make three cups of espresso on a single charge if it boils the water (which is the only way I use it), or about 100 cups if it doesn't have to heat the water. The warmer the water the less battery power it takes so I like to take water from a bottle that has been in the sun versus one from the cooler. It makes a good cup of espresso. The only downside is it takes several hours to charge and takes about 5 minutes to take a cup as that is how long to get the water element heated.
I recommend it! How else could I stay awake while driving a race car?!

I'm an American but would spend a bit of time in Canada every year (and have been an avid hockey player / coach / fan). I use with some of the Americans I know jokingly. Got big when I was in high school with the Bob and Doug Mackenzie skits and carried on from there. Even my boys and I (they are not 31 and 27) use with each other. Its hysterical.
