That takes forever. It took probably 10 years to weed out the regional level old fossils in my area and they were driving club level racing towards bankruptcy (we were losing money sprint racing from low car count and they were so out of touch they were trying to ban 'ugly' cars from racing, as well as refused to allow endurance racing). Club level had endless fights with them to make changes and eventually we got a couple young middle aged guys on their board and then things greatly improved.

That's what makes this all the more maddening. I met Aaron and in every conversation I have had with him he seems like a nice guy.

That being said, he refuses to do what he knows is right.

I just don't get it.

A person’s role in an organizational context like a bureaucracy can strongly influence their behavior. To take an extreme example, consider what happened in **** Germany.

This is why I just edited my post, because every interaction I've had with him is that he is a great guy, and perhaps I was way too harsh, and not giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I teach my kids that an important part of being a good person is to admit when you have made a mistake. I did, and let my passion for the sport, and for what I perceived as this gross inequity, get the better of me. Hopefully some of the PCA players in this mess will also come to the same realization

On a macro level, admitting fault is seen as a weakness these days. Deny and obfuscate instead.

Unfortunately, you're right, but I don't care how it's perceived. It is always the stronger person who can admit they were wrong, and who can apologize. Always.

What a joke and embarrassing.
Glad I'm paying these jokers every year for a membership fee.

Canadian, so we like to apologize.

I'm just sorry I used to snore.

Yes to CPAP, no to commercial trucking, just regular old droving and instructing.

The obvious solution here is for the PCA Medical Committee to adopt the CPAP standards used by the FIA European Truck Racing Championship and call it a day.

Yes sir.

It appears the point where PCA leadership would do this has past as others have commented. It's a shame.

You guys still haven’t apologized for Bryan Adams yet, and don’t even get me started on Celine Dion…

But they gave us Bob and Doug McKenzie and Molson Golden so it's that cancels it out.

Yeah, I’ll give ya the McKenzies, and there’s Rush (2112 is one of my all time favorite albums), so there’s that, but Celine is gonna take a bit more than those as far as apologies go..
Edit: and how could I forget the knock down drag out series going on in Edmonton and Vancouver…

Forgot about Rush. That's like dropping a Royal Flush on the table on Celine's full house. LOL

Lol…well played.
I saw Rush at MSG a few times back in the day. Fantastic shows that I still remember to this day.
The “Permanent Waves Tour”, Spirit of Radio, 2112 in its entirety, Closer to the Heart, etc.
They brought the roof down.
So yes, Rush does cancel out Celine, I’ll give ya that for sure.
