Thanks C. Ironically I knew that one. Always thought it meant stubborn but I knew the gist.
Regardless, thanks for looking out.

Things are going to get real for a lot of people very quickly! https://www.cnet.com/tech/mobile/sle...-it-will-work/

"Good Morning. Is that an Apple Watch you're wearing? How did you sleep last night? What's your password?"

I'd be careful about buying a new Apple Watch.....might lose your race license (and save your life)..... 80% UNDIAGNOSED!!!

Apple Watch Series 10 will include new health features for sleep apnea

Apple Inc.
Apple said its Apple Watch Series 10 will be able to alert users to sleep apnea, which is a disorder that can cause people to stop breathing while they are asleep. The condition affects more than one billion people worldwide, Apple said.

The company said 80% of people with sleep apnea are undiagnosed. Apple’s Series 10 uses an accelerometer to measure breathing disturbances while users are sleeping, and it analyzes this data every 30 days.

This feature was built using an extensive dataset, Apple said, and the company expects clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and other regulators “very soon.”

When I suspected I had sleep apnea I showed my GP the data from my smartwatch and he said "you have sleep apnea" and wrote me a prescription for the sleep test, which was a requirement for my insurance to pay for a CPAP.

I can't wear a watch at night. Heck, the wrist bands we get at the track bother me. At least the flimsy paper fiber ones are ok, but the plastic ones or the ones with the tails I hate. I sleep on my side/stomach and invariably my wrist/hand is around my face and head. I've woken up with cuts and scratched on my face with the plastic wrist bands! (either that or Nadine is trying to kill me one small cut at a time).

Do what mom and dad made me do when I got chicken pox as a kid. Sleep with your gloves on. You're welcome.

Watch 14 or later, and iPhone 14 or later, will call 911 for you under high Gs'. We actually talk about that in drivers meetings sometimes. EMS gets called to the track.

This. And I really like a nice Analog watch... if I only had the money to buy them!

Prediction with 100% confidence level:

there will be zero Apnea events reported via the Apple Watch during a Racing event with PCA CR. 🤦‍♂️

Luigi should have cited Durkheim to explain his actions:
