Like the gravel trap way to enforce track limits. No ambiguity. And, it costs...

Crazy that 0.3 meters (less than 12 inches) can make a difference in lateral position, but it does.

Very impressive qualifying performance by Max with a gap to his nearest competitors that is reminiscent of 2023. Anyone notice how low Mercedes is running their cars? Lot's of plank smoke, much more than competitors and their leading edge is sparking (as seen during a slo-mo shot), something I haven't seen before. Russell on 3rd row may be able to make an impression on lap 1 by the draft.

Total spanking by Max in qualifying. Three tenths is huge for such a short lap. He obviously found something after the sprint race. Lando was disappointed. He thought he was going to be close in the race. I was hoping he would get the win. It’s going to take something crazy to happen for that to play out.

I hate seeing a driver get a really good time only to see it get deleted a few moments later. I'm in favor of using gravel for every corner where track limits are a concern. It would be a much better look for F1.

I thought that was great race.
The penalties for Lando and Max were both correct. Other than that is was good hard racing between two equal cars. Congratulations to Russell

My opinion of Max has just gone down after this race. What a ***** move to drive Lando off into the grass after the puncture. Sort of “If I’m not going to win, neither are you” type of move. Max should have had to give the position back to Lando after he went off track and maintained the lead. Plus numerous moving under braking moves. I don’t know if they’re going to still be friends after this!
Perez beaten by a Haas! Way to go Nico. Some redemption for Piastri after that lousy track limits call in qualifying. Poor Leclerc just keeps having bad luck.
