Great riding skills by both. I suppose a swift side kick when parallel is not in the training manual?

My BIL was killed running from the police on a bike so I can't watch those
The police, IMHO, should not engage in pursuit of motorcycles without real just cause

I think that dude is in for a 'slip and fall' accident on the way to the police station after that chase haha!
there used to be a guy active on youtube who called himself Ghost Rider, and he made lots of vids of himself teasing the police to chase him and then running (I think he was in Europe somewhere). they'd send lots of cars out after him but of course they never got close (unlike that vid up above which was a normal commuter type motorcycle, Ghost Rider's bike was a custom built 'Busa with a big turbo (~500 hp). he'd toy with them and then make the jump to warp speed and say 'bye bye'. he was also famous for high speed long distance wheelies (he'd do that in front of the cops to tease them into a chase). one of his vids was an on-board, plus a cam on a bridge, of him doing a 200+ mph wheelie with a chase bike behind him trying to keep up (another 'Busa). I don't know how the guy lived as long as he did, he was nuts (but talented)
Edit - here's the 200+ mph wheelie vid. this guy was nuts.

I have the utmost respect for the Brazilian motorcycle cops. In São Paulo they are called ROCAM. They make about $500/month, risk their lives on a daily basis, and often have guns that are quite inferior to the ones that people they go after have. Drug dealers there have AK 47's and sometimes .50's. .people in the bad neighborhoods often try to throw stones on the cops if they see a chase.
Also, check some of the ROTA car chases in São Paulo. Respect and I hope we could import some of these guys to LA for temporary assignments,

Flip-flops: for sure footing in turns when you’re wearing shorts and can’t drag a knee.

Hm, Idk. It was not a movie, and unless the fleeing guy has just murdered someone, this chase put a lot of innocent people
in unjustified danger.
