My understanding is that they will add significant turtles or sausages to keep drivers from just using the extra concrete as additional track.
Despite it’s apparent simplicity, the Bus Stop at Daytona is one of the greatest variables in driver skill execution on that track, besides T1 braking and T6 in general.
The difference between good and great drivers going INTO this and making the direction change from end of left entry to turning right to get out, is HUGE. Sort of like the Glen but harder...

I guess that’s why the bus top seems hard to me. Others seem to sail right through it. I can’t figure it out. I don’t think I’ve once felt good going through there.

I hope they nail some mattresses on the outside concrete barrier because that last sausage will launch cars pretty far.
