There are calibration standards test or metrology labs in most areas of the USA.
HJM Precision, Troy, NY is my go to lab

You can probably send it back to Intercomp as well.

I would guess they would.
We carry Longacre and they will recalibrate them. However...by the time you pay to ship it (both ways) and for them to recalibrate, it's most times just cheaper to buy a new one. They're not expensive unless you have the ones with memory and all.

I have an Intercomp digital and have always been told they recalibrate for a small fee. Haven't done it yet since mine is only a couple of years old.

I had one of the oil filled ones. A few years back my car was acting crazy - oversteer and understeer. I asked Spencer *** to take it for a drive. He comes in after one lap, grabs his Intercomp digital gauge and finds out all my Hoosiers were around 45 pounds! My gauge was showing around 32 pounds!

I bought the digital Intercomp right after that.

Intercomp will recalibrate and certify. Call their tech service.

similar story here. The oil filled ones work until you drop them. The intercomp digital is bullet proof.

Having been a distributor for Longacre and Intercomp in a previous life, I have seen, used and tested many tire gauges from any manufactures. Most people would be very surprised about the accuracy (or lack thereof) of tire pressure gauges in general. This is especially true of dial gauges - even high dollar ones. Personally, I use and can highly recommend the Intercomp digital gauge. It's not cheap, but it is my goto gauge when accuracy is important. It's the only one I trust. I also have the one pictured above which is very convenient but is off by 5 psi.

Just FYI...I contacted Intercomp yesterday and they promptly replied - they do not recalibrate the dial gauges. However they will recalibrate the digital gauges.
My Intercomp dial gauge was off by 2.5lbs within 2 years of purchase, so I'm thinking what's the point of those dial gauges? Guess I'm off to buy a digital Intercomp now...

Yup, asked the same question last night and they just responded to my inquiry and stated you can not calibrate dial gauges.

These are nice units, hate to toss them, but now I know.

What tossed them out of tune, is one of the crew guys used the gauges on the high pressure side of the pit cart that we use for air jacks.

What's better, the ball chuck or the angle chuck?
