^^^^ That's good to hear. I've got practice on that my DVR picked up as we speak.

Mercedes is up 7 tenths in practice at Monaco (which is a lifetime). Hamilton indicated that he was quite surprised by this. Perhaps I've resorted to venting, but is anyone else really quite annoyed by how stupid that assumes the regular F1 viewer is? I don't remember Ferrari or Williams or Mclaren doing this when they were dominant. They let their performances speak for themselves. Happy to be corrected.

F1 sucks. One of my bucket list items was to attend an F1 race, was thinking Monaco but settled on the Spanish GP in Barcelona. Thank GOD the F3 and Porsche Mobil One Supercup ran before to make it interesting. My video of the start was the closest racing of the day, even after they regrouped the leaders with 15 laps to go it was a joke..

I've found this Mercedes BS of 'we're so surprised' as just a crap tactic to put down Ferrari.
They KNOW they are going to win and they're trying to make it sound like it will be close.

I did not expect this thread title to be evergreen.

I think Mercedes is genuinely surprised with how well the car is doing at tracks they have traditionally struggled. The longest car in the field has typically hurt them at tight tracks like Monaco ie Red Bull has been so strong here in recent years but this year the car seems to be working everywhere. "Maybe" they are just actually pleasantly surprised...

Personally, I think this is Max's weekend to lose. Would love to see Max, Lewis and Charles on the Podium come Sunday, sort of the passing of the torch...

Who wore it better:

McClaren at Indy 500 or Ferrari at Monaco GP Quali?

LeClerc's dream of driving for Ferrari is being turned into a nightmare of poor management decisions. Good news is it can only get better!

Tough call but I give the edge to Ferrari... At least McLaren was on track
