Here is the start of a sprint race a few years ago - probably not going to see the best line on a lap but give you an idea of the track and traffic:

Also, here is what it is like in the rain at Mid-O:

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect. Thanks both.

Keep 'em coming.....

(OP-<Chip>-Do you want me to start a separate thread from this one for possibly some more Mid-O videos, or is it OK for folks to post them in this thread? Don't want to hijack this one if more folks post more videos. This thread ok? Whatever you want is fine.)

Keep in mind the videos above are pro course, this event has typically been club course in the past, but that may change due to the club race going on.

I could be mistaken, but during the club race weekend everyone runs the pro course. There is a DE only weekend event a week or two earlier that runs the club course. In any case, dgrobs, the difference is there will be a chicane between T1 and T2. It is a right then left into T2 and there is time to get back left after T1 to line up for it.

Right on. I have been running both on the sim the last couple days. Mostly the one without the chicane. I’ll need to confirm which one we’re running for the DE. Thanks Certz. Ain’t Rennlist great?...

I much prefer the pro course.
years ago...we ran both...pro for the sprints, club for the enduro. It was a “mistake”...they forgot to put the cones up for qualifying so we ran the pro course. Vicki had no choice than have us run the pro course foir the sprints.

I see where for racing the pro config gives you another passing opportunity, but IMO sliding through that chicane MAKES Mid-O. I'd have to look back at my notes to be sure but they may have run both for the DE last year.

Be pretty cool if we ran both at Mid-O.
Kinda like running the Boot and the NASCAR configs at WGI the same day. Did that with NRPCA a couple times. Very cool....
Like I said, been running both on the sim. Not the easiest course to learn, but it's coming along.

My kind of track for sure.
Really love the speed in that right hand sweeper (T-2 to T-4 I think).

I don't like the chicane because I suck at the chicane...
Actually...I suck at the whole track, but the chicane is the worst for me...
Mid Ohio hates me...I need retribution...if my car is done in time...

We plan to run the pro course all weekend - so no chicane.
