At least you've had some other nice cars to drive in the meantime.

I'm happy to report my CGT was returned to me on Friday of last week. The sight of her as the trailer door opened brought an instant grin then smile from ear to ear... Totally forgetting she was gone for damn near a year... Once unloaded and inspected I fired her up and went for the "new" maiden voyage... The howl of the V10's exhaust coupled to the gearbox and chassis reminded me how worth the wait it was and how this remains the best automobile that I've ever owned. She is fully serviced above and beyond ready for the next 10 years, running better then when she was new... Very grateful to call a Carrera GT my own. I want to thank the team at Porsche of Fairfield, Porsche AG and Porsche Cars North America for the continued support and constant communication during the last several months.

Every once in awhile the right guy gets of hold of a CGT.

Enjoy!

Followed this thread for more than a year and really glad to see the happy conclusion.

Even happier to see a CGT owner who really drives and appreciates the work of art he owns.

Many happy, safe, and trouble free miles.

I agree. 22K for the service? For what was done that seems quite reasonable. Peter, thanks for sharing this great project with RLers.

Awesome thread. Doesn’t get any better than seeing under the skin of a CGT.
