Awesome updates Jimmy!! How big of a difference do the updated coil packs make? Was the change made for durability/reliability or performance? Keep up the great work

Thanks! The coil packs will only make a difference if your current coil packs are cracked and need to be replaced. If they are original I can gaurantee they are cracked. Replace the spark plugs and get a fresh full tank of gas before bringing it to the shop, I promise you will get back that smooth like new idle.

Feel free to contact me if you'd like to schedule to bring it in!

I was thinking the same thing. It reminds me of the saying, "if you have to ask how much"

Car looks amazing. Wasn't it prudent to replace the clutch while doing the engine out service?

Peter's clutch was well within operating range. No other issues were found during the cleaning and inspection process.

Thanks again Peter! Looking forward to you seeing the finished product!

One of the coolest threads I've seen in a long time. What an incredible piece of engineering.

Thanks to the owner of this CGT for allowing this to be shared and many thanks to the OP for documenting the incredible work and process.

Just cool.

Awesome you are so up front with everything (including the cost). Wish more people followed your example.

Well done.

I would have added a new battery - cheap insurance.
