At Porsche of North Houston week before last while picking up my Cayenne, in the delivery bay was Salomondrin's old car (the Rubystone Red one) which was just back from repainting by the new owner. Now it's what looks like Carrara White Metallic. Speaking with my advisor about it, it now resides in Dallas-area and had to be nearly entirely disassembled for paint. It's a crappy iphone pic, but looked amazing in person.

Wow thanks for sharing the update. A lot of us were wondering what happened to that car and what it sold for.
Were you able to take a picture, or look at the interior? There were a bunch of ruby stone "accents" and stuff added in there too I wonder if the owner undid all of those mistakes too.
I didn't get a photo of the interior, but all of the painted trim pieces were no longer Rubystone. I believe most were either replaced with factory parts or painted to match exterior color. This was the first one I've seen in person in white of any type and it looked amazing! My advisor had some photos on his phone of when it came in and the disassembly process. They even had to flatbed the tub of the car to the paint shop as parts of that were painted rubystone as well. Needless to say, the paint job was done properly.
