1-2 hours outside of NYC continues to surprise me for available fun roads. I got super lucky today on my route; it’s like google maps had a toggle to only choose curvy, smooth, no-traffic routes. Idk if I can duplicate it from memory, but I somehow thread the needle for a solid 3hours of good roads, good weather and very little traffic. I know you guys in Cali get these moments every day (minus the no-traffic). In NY, when you do get them, they are magic. Especially in a GT. This is along the Delaware river, PA/NY border, NY-97, Pond Eddy bridge. It’s first time I’ve been in that area; I’m definitely going back to explore more. I usually don’t prospect new roads in the GT; I typically follow-up later once I’ve scouted things out in something less PITA. Idk, today, I just threw caution to the wind and only 1 scrape

I had some similar shots taken several years ago and it was done with a boom attachment. I'm no photographer but I think it was a long exposure to make it look like the car was going fast but in reality it was barely moving.

That type of photography is often done at a very slow speed to help control the photo - a slow shutter speed is all that's needed to get the blur effect.

Don't want to hijack this thread but this is correct. A slow shutter speed (typically like 1/30 or 1/60) with a pan while focusing on the subject will create the blur. The open shutter blurs the background as you pan but the subject stays in focus as you're tracking it (it also takes a bit of practice to get ti right)

Thank you, E Man and everyone that contributed to the thread for creating this amazing thread! It was a pleasure reading about all of your guys' CGT's and even the 997 4.0's and you cannot forget the amazing pictures, they are all truly one of a kind machines. I plan on joining the club in the upcoming future. One thing that stood out was Carlos' "garage" if you can even call it that, it's leaning more towards a museum structure and especially the cars kept inside. Huge applaud and congratulations to all of you!
