Default Taking delivery in a couple days

The anticipation is killing me. To anyone with experience, can you give me the drawbacks(if any) to changing out the exhaust from stock to AWE bypass pipes.

I wouldn't do it. I was thinking about it when I first took delivery, but I'm glad I didn't.

The car sounds amazing already. It doesn't have to be loud to sound good. It comes with that killer high pitched sound that screams when you accelerate or rev it up. With open pipes, you will just make everything much louder and annoying. What I came to realize is that the car is already a head turner. You don't need to be 130db to get someone to appreciate or notice. When driving through your neighborhood or a small town - you don't want envy to turn into annoyance. That's my 2 cents.

One other thought: There is a video with the sound of the AWE. Is it me or does the AWE sound a bit deeper with less of a high pitch?

I'd just suggest driving it stock before making your decision.

I'll be sure and do that. There's some snow in the forecast right now so it may be a few days? When it came off the truck I had to immediately drive it. I only drove for about 15 miles, since the car is not licensed or registered (insured yes!). It ran flawlessly. I didn't want to push it because no license plate and it still has the old original tires on it (new ones ordered).

At the moment I'm just in ahh over looking at it in the garage! Visually they look even better in the flesh than any picture will show you. It's so different than anything else I've ever laid eyes on. Truly remarkable is all I can say at the moment.
