GMG is proud to announce our World Challenge Carrera GT Sport Exhaust System. This exhaust has been developed over the last 5 months to enhance the most influential production Porsche ever built.

Not only does our WC-CGT Sport Exhaust system improve the level of sound from your Carrera GT, it also keeps the high-pitched clean sound from the F1 inspired V10 that we all love. With careful research on how the Carrera GT V10 develops power, we have engineered an exhaust system that improves the V10 power output throughout the RPM range. No other manufacturer on the market today can claim a system that has been developed with race inspired technology, F1 silencers, and dyno proven power.

With the help of GIAC on this project, we have tuned our WC-CGT Sport Exhaust to work in conjunction with a GIAC tuned ECU. This ensures that all parameters are met to take full advantage of our hardware. This package develops over 19 wheel horsepower and 16 wheel torque on 91 octane pump fuel. This power increase, combined with the weight savings from our system, makes for an end result that it unparalleled in both performance and sound. Finally, a performance package for your CGT that you can actually feel!

Keep in mind the microphone on the camera cannot keep up with the F1 sound!!!



For those of you who are interested in just the GIAC software we can flash your ECU's and send them back same day turn around. Both ECU's will need to be removed from the vehicle and overnighted to GMG for flashing. Tuning is calibrated for a range of 91 to 98 octane fuel.
If you are in Southern California you can always stop by the shop and we can flash the ECU's while you wait.

Thank you for the compliments, The video does the sound very little justice and as you can hear the microphone cannot keep up with the high pitch F1 sound.. It really needs to be heard in real life to be appreciated!

How does the system compare to the awe muffler for sound,is it louder.
I have a awe muffler fitted to my car.

AWE makes straight pipes that bypass the mufflers basically you have the sound of two independent 5 cyliner engines:

Our WC- CGT system is a complete exhaust system with mufflers and mid pipes ,which also has a cross over section and scavanges from both left and right cylinder banks.


The two systems are completely different in design and function.

Sorry it does not help,as i have a awe muffler not the straight through pipes.
The straight through pipes are not a option for road use.
So how does your system comapre against the awe muffler

I am not sure what you mean by how it compares? Compares in what way?


I cant say, I have never heard a AWE muffler up close....


All I can tell you is that our system literally makes the car sound like an F1 car.


I guess the best thing to do is give me a call at the shop and I can go over the systems features with you.

Hi Thanks for the reply,i have had a look at your web site.
The awe muffler i have fitted is 106db at 4500 rpm,i am looking for a system that sounds nicer than the awe muffler ,but not as noisy as the the straight through pipes.
The silencers look small on your system,so i am assuming they are quite loud ?
Its difficult to tell how loud from the web site video.

Well if you are in SoCal the CGT featured in the video might be available to listen to live.

Otherwise to describe the sound it is VERY F1 sounding . The sound high pitched more than anything consider that smooth machine like sound that the stock system generates but elevated to a completely higher level.

Hope that helps.. I know the sound on the video is not that great that because the microphone cant keep up with the sound its that Pure F1 sound that is to much for the microphone itself. We are working on a microphone that can properly handle the sound.

I am in england,uk.
I would be interested to know what db the system is at 4500 rpm and 7,000.
The awe straight through pipes are hideous for the road and most tracks over here in the uk,they also spoil the noise of the cgt.
I am seriously looking for a nice system.

We have another CGT coming in to the shop to fit the system. Most of our orders have been from customers overseas...



I will see if I can get a sound meter on the system on the road and report back on the DB level.
