So dealers contact the owners or should I start contacting dealers near me?

This^^^. I spoke to the GM of my store and he then had their service guy reach out to me. Service then ordered parts and said it takes about 2 weeks before they arrive. He did also verified the new tires, towing and service allowance.

How do people feel about the Cup 2 tires? I mean they need to be up to temp to work unlike the previous preferred Super Sport tires. Also they won’t work as well in the wet.

My car is in for the service. I didn't pay attention to tire spec, as I just assumed they would be putting super sports back on. I'll ask. I had cup 2's on my old gt3 touring, and they were fine over the 12k miles I daily drove the car. They've gotten better with regards to temperature sensitivity, and I found them to be fine in the rain. They do make them in different specs though. I had a GT350 and GT350R with them, and the tread depth was half of what they were on the GT3. I've had 4s's and cup 2's back to back, and the cup 2's made more noise and weren't as smooth. On the cup 2's, they get really sticky when warm, and pick up every rock in their path; for this reason with out open fronts, I might request the super sports.

I have mesh grill installed in the void aft the front wheels and the car is fully ppf so not too worried about kicking up debris, but given how I drive the car, usually early morning where roads are still damp, and short drives less than 2 hours, just not sure if the cup 2’s will be better than something that’s purely for street use.

My car was picked up this morning, I can't wait to get it back...I haven't driven it in ages!! My tires were 2021...so it's probably time for a fresh set anyway.

Would be cool if Porsche can just send me $100k and leave my perfectly good control arms alone!

Just dropped my car off and saw another very very dirty CGT on the lift getting the control arms done. The new front arms are noticeably beefier. I didn’t see the new rear arms side by side.

Dimensionally the new wishbones are identical. The only difference is the spherical joints have additional chromium and molybdenum content vs
the original parts.

Not affiliated with Champion but nice video showing the work that's being done to our cars.

Nice...thx for posting the vid...dealer told me it will take 2-3 weeks to complete the service...apparently they can't order the tires until the car arrives...I just hope its still warm enough to drive it once it's done...you warm weather guys have it made!

What dealer?
2-3 weeks sounds crazy plus tires are available with 1-2 day lead time.

Porsche GB turning cars round in about 4 days with recall work, service and tyres. They get a limited labour allowance from PAG.
