Default 996CC brake duct spoiler

Anybody know the part number for 2005 996C brake duct spoiler and a place to buy them? I ripped one of mine off during a spin at VIR. Thanks.

It doesn't look like a race part, not marked R. It should be out of GT3 parts bin at Suncoast

I'm pretty sure its a motorsports piece; differing from the GT3 in the lower piece riveted on.

I put them on my AE car. Not much larger than the stock ones but they are still 996 GT3 parts.

The 996 Cup car piece is much larger and 10 times the cost if you can find them.

While it is available from Porsche Dealer, only the smaller part was delivered on a US car. The whole thing riveted (which is not riveted anymore, it is now 1 piece redesign) is the Cup duct.

The last one I bought was riveted, but it's been a while. The dealership had a street GT3 duct, and it was basically the top part of the cup duct without the lower riveted on extension. I saw demonspeed had a 997 cup brake duct, and I think it started with a 996. part number. It looked smaller than what I have; is that the revised new part, Bob?

FWIW, the front fender well liner (rear half) for our cups is very similar to the GT2 part. I have that on mine.

So, can anyone say why the 996 cup has the extra part while the 997 cup when to a smaller one more like the street car part.

Thanks

Ed

The 997 has a HUGE hole in the center of the front wheel well cover directly out of the radiator into the brake. The 996 sort of scoops it from around the outside of wheel well.
