tedean, i have used Pagid 29's / 19's & 14's. We have kept to the 14's for combination of wear and feel.

For a 996 EndlessUSA recommends N35S for the fronts and N05S for the rears for the correct bias. I'm going to try this combo when I need to change rotors.

From all I read and hear, specifically regarding Pagid, if you are only doing sprints and/or 1 hour enduros, blacks (14's) are the better choice than yellows. Especially if it is true that there is a shelf life.

FWIW I just moved from Pagid P50 to PFC 01 compound this weekend. Stopping distance seemed about the same, but initial torque/bite was higher in the Pagid's while the PFC's seemed to fade less over time. Not saying it's worse, just different.

Yes the blacks are more powerful, amazing on a 996 cup. I use yellow on my Grand-Am car as it has huge RSR type brakes.

Agreed. The yellows on the front of my car feel tired. They look new but are > 12 months old. I'll replace them and see if I can tell a big difference.

Guaranteed you will! Edit to add, if you want to wait till HPT, I have a Girodisk piston spreader which makes the job so very easy everybody should have one

I switched from 19's to 14's this year and it's better....mostly sprints up to 45 minutes and they're fine for the whole event...

Wait a second guys ... are you saying the Pagid brake pads lose it's ju ju with time and use much like slicks?? That is just awful! I have not felt the drop in stopping power when it comes to pagid RS29 on my street RS until it's basically worn to the back plate. Maybe it's different on a none ABS Cup

Yes (not just Pagid, all brake pads). On the street your pads won't see anywhere near the temps the Cup will generate which is why they'll feel the same over their life.

Just re-opening this thread. So has anyone tried the Endless pads? I'm thinking of giving them a go on 997 Cup callipers. Not on a Cup Car though.

We have always been Pagid users and race with them, including at the Rolex 24. That said, I met with Ganesh of Endless last weekend at the Rolex and he seemed very knowledgable and easy to deal with. We certianly are considering giving them a try and based on what we learn, becomming a stocking dealer.

The RS29 is a great endurance pad. If you are running shorter races and need more torque, the RS14 works well. If you have a Bosch Motorsports ABS car then you may even want to try the RS15.

Cheers

I wish I had the B/motorsports abs...but alas and alack...

At this stage it is for very short sprint events. Time attack style. So hard short bursts akin to qualifying.
