Default 997 GT3 Cup - Fuji Shakedown

Two short video of my first shakedown run at Fuji Speedway in a 2007 GT3 Cup car.

I am driving in this video - (having problem with the sequential box....)

This is a friend who finished 2nd overall last year - just laying down a Motec track for me.

Quick thought. Looked great for a shakedown. Be more aggresive with Your throttle blips on the downshifts and it will really help. Easier on the gbox and makes the car more stable of course under braking. PM me and I can give You a couple of techniques to help. Also be a bit more assertive as You pull the shifter and push the shifter. Hope that helps. They are really great arent they....

Very cool video setup-it looks just like the AIM DaVid only for Motec. Can you please tell me what you have to make that possible?

I have driven Tsukuba once. Really tight track that has of 3 hairpins turns in addition to few other types of tight turns. Track is very popular with the hardcore track day people....

ow.. please get a coach, you are not downshifting properly and the gearbox won't last more than a weekend like that. You need to do more blipping on the downshifts. See the other thread for some info.

was that for me?

If so:
i dont think i need to do MORE blipping. Instead, i need to do less.
i tend to rev it to high, prior to release the clutch.
so the car some times wants to accelerate on clutch release.
im used to a 993 cup. with the 993 you need to give a much longe blip, because the engine does not rev up as quick as the 997 does
