Default Three flame suits on: what oil for 957tt?

Is there any consensus on this? Yes I've read a bunch of bickering about it, there always seems to be bickering about oil and oil threads, just hoping for a quick answer. Needs to be able to handle hot summers and cold winters.

I use Motul Xcess 5-40 in my:

2007 GT3
2008 Audi RS4
2011 Cayenne Turbo

I use Motul X Clean 5-30 in my

2015 Audi Q7 Sport

Hope this helps. Oil change intervals are 2,500 miles.

Plenty of consenuous from Porsche.

See attached PDF.

Any "A40" approved oil is fine. Real cold winters you need to use 0w-40. This works for summers too.

I just found out that the meticulously cared for CTT I bought this year has been using 10-30 oil for it's whole life........

Moly 5-40 is being put in tomorrow.

I'm using Motul 8100 xcess 5W-40 year round with a 5,000 mile change interval and Blackstone analysis with each change in my 2009 Cayenne Turbo S. I have quite a bit of this oil as I used to use it in my 997s also, but recently switched them to JGR DT40. Once I deplete my Motul stock, I'll switch the Cayenne to DT40 as well to have fewer oils in inventory to keep up with. The Motul is A40 approved - the DT40 is not.
