Yes. If these are to fit a 993 wide body, it has to be the reverse. 52 up front and 44 rear. Beautiful wheels, damn.

Sorry- I have to politely disagree.

These offsets will work nicely on a WB 993Ttt.

There are tons of threads online of 18x8.5 wheels with offsets in the mid 40s. The 11.5s will work too- I just built an identical set for another user on here in these offsets (brad?)

Typical offsets for both the Turbo Look and Turbo II hollow spokes are 8"/50 ET, and 11"/45 ET. http://www.944racing.de/wheelweights.php

Sadly the offsets on these beautiful wheels are largely the reverse. 8.5" fronts with an ET of only 44 is a recipe for fender rubbing up front. You might get them to fit with a camber adjustment, but it's tight.

The 11.5" rear with with an ET of 52 also might work, but you lose some of the poke. Its possible these could rub on the inside of the rear wheel wells.

Straying too far from original wheel offsets can foul the suspension and body work, so best to tread carefully here. http://www.driverstechnology.co.uk/wheel-offset.htm

I ask that you stop spreading misinformation and crapping on my FS thread. What you are quoting are very conservative approaches to wheel fitment on widebody 993s. These are not OEM wheels; they are aftermarket wheels built to maximize the space available in your wheel well.

What your interpretation of fitment is, is not what this thread is for. Some people choose to run their setups slightly more aggressively, which means either +/- camber, smaller or larger tires, +/- height - there is a seemingly infinite amount of variation involved here based on one's own styling/driving preferences.

There are numerous threads that clearly show very similar fitments on other cars - take a look below:

These wheels will fit a 993 WB.

The confusion is you've stated 996tt as well. As one looking for e88's this now clarifies. These won't work well on 996t's

Nothing some small spacers won't remedy.

Please provide center part numbers with inner and outer barrel sizes to remove and avoid confusion. The offsets will be clear with the requested three sets of info.

No buyer is looking to spend good money for light wheels just to add weight back with spacers. GLWTS

My apologies if you feel that I've crapped all over your thread. You advertised the fitment as perfect for 993TT and 996TT. I'm just trying to clarify that these are actually an aggressive fitment. There's little solace in the threads that you linked. Like this quote from Triple G who ran with KW V3's: " The rear will slightly rub when I hit a big/sudden dip in the highway and only when I have a passenger with me." They may work well with some builds, but this is a very aggressive fitment. I had to do a 3/4 respray last winter after some major fending rubbing at AX. I'd hate to see someone else go have to go through that painful experience.

Started out as:

0288120 Front 18x8.5 +38 (1.5 / 7)
0288108 Rear 18x11 +64 (2 / 9)

Built into:

0288108 Front 18x8.5 +45 (1.5 / 7)
0288120 Rear 18x11.5 +51 (2.5 / 9)

Here is another post for reference:

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...y-nb-pics.html

This is a NB car with 18x8.5 + 41 up front and 18x11+60 in the rear. For what it's worth - this setup is 3mm deeper in the rear, so backspacing is confirmed not an issue on this set.

Bump for an honest seller. Bought a set of BBS LM from him came with brand new tires and fast shipping. Has also helped me with my BBS E88 build.
