Yes, IMHO it's very close to a perfect fit. The wheels will fill out the well better than the original offsets. But, you might be somewhat reduced in that you won't be able to lower the car to RS height or below, depending on which tires you use o course.

the 8.5ET46 wheel will sit 12.35mm closer to the fender lip, to me that is not a good fit. If you use a wider than stock tire(stock is 225/40) then you are even closer.

Just for your info 993Cup used 8.5ET52, on mine I use 8.5 ET54, others use BBS ET56 w/ success

the 10ET 56 sits 11mm closer to the lip, this is do able but will limit ride height and tire selection

Bill - are your rears the standard 65 offset? If so, what size tire are you running and did you have to roll the lip for clearance?

yes, I have 3 sets of wheels all are 10x18ET65. You can run either 265/35 or 280/30 depending on the fronts

2sets are 225/40 & 265/35 rain/street
1 set is 245/35 & 280/30 dry track sort of an experiment wrt tires, Hoosier R6 front and MPSC rears

I and everyone else that runs 280/30 at low ride heights do have rolled rears, a baseball bat is fine, the lips were fine when I ran 265/35 10 ET56 rears at RoW M030 height, but when I lowered the car to Cup height they still kissed the drivers side lip even after rolling, 280s would not have worked w/ 10ET56 at that height.

Thanks Bill

That seems like a lot of front tire - 245 R6's. I would guess you have eliminated any push.

Cars are specimens, they are all a little bit different. On my 993TT I have front 9x18 ET40 and the car is around RS height. No problems and that is 25mm closer to the fender wall than the standard wheel.. So from that perspective your 18x8.5" ET46 should fit just fine but as I said, you might be limited as far as tire sizes and how much you can lower the car without rubbing. We can discuss this to great length but you really need to try the wheel on the car to judge as they are all a little bit different.

How about posting a picture?

I've used 9 ET50 and there was absolutely no room left for a tire bigger than 225/40

Sure.

9x18 ET40

Tires are 225/40, fenders not rolled. Car sits at RS height. It has been lowered a little bit more since I took those pictures. No rubbing or clearance issues but its tight.. As I said, our cars are individuals so the wheels always have to be test fitted first IMHO.

I found RH 3.6 wheels, but the seller only has 3 wheels (2 front 1 Rear) - I called RH to see if I can order the 4th wheel, but they are on back order. I think im going to pass.

Quick Reply: 18x8.5" offset 46 & 18x10" offset 54???
