I think the eHybrids only get sports exhaust as an option from this month on wards...but lets see. Has to be like for like of course!

So no 4 e-hybrids out until now with the sports exhaust?

But as you said, the sports exhaustin the Panamera 4 (s) might sound almost the same ;-)

I have it specced on my current build although I think that the standard exhaust sounds great, I can only assume that the sports sounds better
And I don't like the rectangular design so I would go for the sport tips upgrade which is a lot of money for nothing, the sport muffler is if you see it my way "only" an extra 2500. If you would like to retrofit however, it will be much more.

I agree - will retrofit when possible. Estimate is £3,000 ish but then saved circa £5k with a 2017 build so still happy.

AJ, how could you Save 5K with that? Did they increase prices in 2017 in the UK?

although expensive, the extra in AT did cost like 3K, but given the bettet look (especially i like the nee look in gloss Black) and the slightly bettet Sound, for me it was worth it!

They added circa £1,750 to base cost + 20% on all options.

The joys of Brexit!!

Wow, over here there weren't any 2017 e-Hybrids; just the 2018 models. Not sure what if any difference there is between the European 2017 models and the coming 2018 models?? I spec'd my car back in March and was originally given an early June build date. I did read somewhere that the torque had been increased from 435 ft lbs to 516 ft lbs, but not sure if that is the 2018 vs. 2017 or the 2017 vs. 2016?? In any case, the pricing here hasn't changed since March to my knowledge.

The only difference was a couple of things were not standard - I think rain sensor maybe was one and some options were not possible (like the sports exhaust). It was only those built in Feb, March and April that were 2017s I think.

My "Inspection Required" light has come back on...seems to be a software fault. Thor, has yours stayed off?

nope. mine has come back on too. spoke to my dealer and he said that Porsche are working on a fix. it seems to be hybrid specific and isn't affecting the other models.

I was told that i could go and have the light reset so it doesn't appear but that it'll probably come back on again.

They will let me know once a fix has been finished so it can be applied. i wonder if this is what's causing the delay to the current hybrids?

1500 miles in in my Panamera4 and I've not seen any "inspection required" light so you are correct seems to be some s/w issue on the hybrid only.

Default scuffed an alloy last night.....

bloody curb wasn't straight! had lots of room at the rear of the car but the curb protruded out near the front of the car and......well you can just imaging the rest.

so annoyed.

Thor - the quicker you come to terms with it the better - much like the first scratch on a mobile screen. The anger will fade with time (I scratched mine on Saturday and was the same).

Head of servicing just emailed back saying exactly what you said. Just ignore the warning and Porsche is working on a fix. My concern is that the warning would mask any other white warning (guessing a yellow would still come on). Anyway, hopefully not too material.

yeah, i know. still galling though! trying to figure out if it's worth getting it repaired yet or wait for the next one.

would've thought that if there was another fault then you'd get another fault notification for that issue. this one is saying that a service is required because it thinks an oil change is due. if you check your Car Connect app or on the right hand screen in the submenu it'll say "Oil Change 0 miles".

so, the car thinks it needs an oil change but doesn't which is why it's not really an issue just and annoyance. but if something else went wrong then you'd get a notification for that issue as well as the inspection required notification. at least i'd hope so!

You are 100% correct, it does indeed.
