Default Any idea on this code?

Hi all,

My AC has stopped working all of a sudden. I replaced the AC compressor with a DENSO AC compressor about 7 months ago and regassed the system. Worked perfectly since. I had no more issues with the AC until a few days ago. I woke up on Friday morning to go to work and the AC was blowing hot air only. Assumed it might take time to cool, but got to work and still nothing. Needless to say, the AC hasn't worked since, and I'm desperate for some AC (about 40 degrees Celsius here!). On Thursday evening (the night before), the AC was blowing fine with no issues at all.

Took it to a local garage and they scanned and found the following code on their Autel:

008307 - Communication with front fan control (Lin bus A/C 1)

They checked the fuses and found that one of the 30A fuses for the AC was blown in the boot/trunk area (near the battery). They put another fuse in and it blew straight away. They disconnected the AC Compressor and it still blew a fuse. They disconnected the pressure switch and it still blew a fuse.

When I got back home, I disconnected the blower motor (under the passenger-side glove box) and reconnected it. Made no difference. With the blower motor disconnected, I wasn't getting any air at all. Reconnected and it's still only blowing hot air.

Any ideas on what this could be? Clearly looks like an electrical issue. Was hoping someone could chime in.

Thanks in advance!

Hi i think that you need scan with Piwis. Your code is not a DTC code.

Thanks for the speedy reply! Seems like I’m going to have to find someone local or a garage that have PIWIS if no one else has experienced the same issue.

The garage disconnected the AC Compressor first and the new fuse still blew. Then then disconnected the Pressure Switch, another new fuse still blew. I disconnected the blower motor and another new fuse still blew.

I'm not sure if you're mentioning the fan infront of the Condensor (in the engine bay), but I haven't disconnected that (yet).

Hey, we're you able to solve this? I have the same code on my 2010 Panamera. I have replaced the blower control module under the dash and confirmed that the blower is working when I apply 12v directly to it. Thanks.

Are you sure your AC doesn't need to be recharged?

I don't think so, it works perfectly when I hotwire the blower to 12v. Had the condenser replaced about 2 years ago and it hasn't missed a beat since.
