Yes, I love that car. Went out riding yesterday with my Bernese Mountain dog (100+ pounds) in the back and the ever present smile on my face whenever we hit the road. Can't wait to hear about yours!

Let’s hope so! My family calls it a gender reveal car! Happy you are loving yours! Just had dinner with someone who picked his up last week and couldn’t stop raving about it

My initial order was placed early July ‘21. October allocation got pushed out to December. Missed a couple of boats at Emden, wish I’d missed one more (Felicity Ace sank in March ‘22). By the time I was offered a replacement car, ‘22 PTS window had closed so pushed out to Fall ‘22 for a MY 23. Car has been in the shop since 21st September. Hopefully build will be finished this week. After that, who knows?!

My build date was last week of Nov 2021. The dealer configuration freeze was about a month prior, the Porsche freeze (no changes) was a week prior. It was at the port of Emden around a week after production started. I think PTS adds a week or more?
From there, the game begins, mine took 16 days to leave the port, and several weeks to get to Baltimore, and a week more to get released. Others jumped on the boat, took a couple of weeks in transit, but some then sat in port for month(s).
All in all, ordered August 2021, freeze Oct 15, 2021, start build Nov 25, 2021 deliver Jan 29, 2022. One data point but I think I'm around the average.

I would just like as basic timeline to go by and Porsche doesn't seem to provide that.

Thanks that is what I was looking for just some time lines. What you posted goes along with their estimated date. The dealer is not one of the largest but they do sell a bunch.

Not sure how things are now but when I was shopping I heard everything from $15K over MSRP and "when we get an allocation" to "$1K deposit to put your name in the hat." Wanting none of that I just kept shopping until I found a dealer with an actual allocation at something under MSRP. But I called/visited/emailed way over a dozen dealers. Luckily the one I ended up with was only 3 hours away so not too bad...not sure of your situation but the "put you name in a hat" thing was where I drew the line. To me, the distance to the dealer was far down the list...I searched from NH to FL.
