same exact. I wonder if all the SE Ehybrid all shipped same time. I heard they wont be making any more until jan 2023 because of a battery shortage. They allotted too many cars and not enough batteries from what I hear. what color did you do?

 

by the way, im trying to find a thread on here for discussion on radar detectors and cameras specific to the panameras. Does anyone know if there is a thread? Still learning this site.

 

Gentian Blue with burgundy interior. I ordered a Uniden R8. I have had many Escort radar detectors in the last. I also had a gen 1 V1. I had the car prewired for the Porsche dashcam but I might go with a Thinkware U1000.

 

I debated HARD on the color but ended up with midnight. It was a conversation at many dinners here in my house. That color scheme you did sounds nice. I loaded mine up as well. I think it was 153k in the end.

So as far as radar detectors did you consider the "jammers"?

 

Mine was $151k so ours have very similar options. I didnt consider jammers since I have seen a laser gun in the last 10 years in my area. I also find that if there was a laser gun on the side of the road, I would see it on Waze well ahead.

it looks like the vessel will get to the Davisville port on 9/14. That’s where mine will get off since the dealer is in Long Island. It will go through port stuff and potential wait for this amp unless it was not short the part before it departed. My scheduled delivery was originally 9/30

 

My original delivery was 9/30 as well. Mine is at the port in Houston ( im in Dallas) sitting there waiting for the part. SO funny we had all of these upgrades we paid for and then some little a$$ part holding up our delivery.

 

first world problems for us

 

The sport turismo serves a purpose / more rear storage space and higher roofline. But in terms of looks the regular Panamera is sleek looking and looks like a 911 with rear doors. It looks like a sports car while the Turismo looks like a station wagon. If a lot of people said the original Panamera with the more spacious rear hatch design was unattractive why do these same guys say the Turismo is a great looking car. The model I prefer in terms of looks is the Executive as the longer wheelbase lengthen the look of the car from the side and it is more imposing than the base Panamera or the Turismo. Also the Turismo should have been based on the executive so there would be more rear seat leg room and more room allocated to the rear hatch area. The longer roofline of the Executive also looks more streamlined.

But looks are not everything when it comes to cars and the Turismo station wagon gives some additional rear storage area.

If I really needed more rear storage area I would think the Cayenne would be a better choice than the Turismo. The Turismo should have had a rear facing third row of seats like in my Ford Flex to make the disadvantage of the larger rear section offset by much greater utility.

 

well... this just is so silly. Was told today that the cars stuck in port are waiting for the bose amplifier. I thought maybe it was something fancy but was disappointed to hear that that its literally the amp for the basic stereo. Not just the panamera but all models. $156k car and it needs a $100 amp. If I would of had any idea I would of upgraded to the Burmeister. But im all honestly the bose is pretty good for a stock system. They are saying it could be DEC now.
