Update: vehicle arrived in Jacksonville on 6/2 and currently waiting on port inspection. Estimating 2-4wks before the vehicle is in my hands.

There is a 20’ GTS ST, Carmine Red, w/16k at my local dealer in Melbourne, FL. Sharp car if you are looking for the GTS ST in red.

@911C2R How long have you been in Melbourne? I grew up in Indian Harbour Beach and went to Melbourne High. Congrats on getting your new ride!

FYI I loved the chalk seats idea but I have them in my black panamera. They look dingy. They do get discolored easy so I went with black . How do you track your order? My freeze date is july 7, sept 9.

I approved my selections over the weekend. My freeze date is july 7th. The dealership said they went ahead and submitted my order. Any chance they will go to work on my car or still have to wait until July 7?

sorry, doesn’t work like that. All other dates radiate out from a fixed production date where you car hits the assembly line (V260 on the chart below). That slot is fixed, unless of course production slows or speeds up. Mine did start a week early. Delivery is a couple months after the production date. Freeze is a month or so before.

Here's my delivery- ignore the dates except the "actual" column. The Freeze date at the top is the factory freeze between them and the dealer, my dealer had my freeze a month prior to that. Get your V260 date from the dealer and go off that.

BTW I picked it up at the dealer 1/29, with less than a day after port release to pick up. Most dealers will be a week or so I would guess.

Update!! My car is ON VESSEL en route to Davisville.

One question I have, and hope someone else has dealt with this - the ship tracking sites all tell me 6/18 ETA, but the screenshot from my SA says 6/23... what is the source of truth? Siem Confucius is the ship.

Based on my data point- neither. One is the earliest and one is the buffer...my ship delayed way south to avoid some storms and the original date was 3 days off or so. I would count on somewhere in the middle.

Lot of factors can vary the actual arrival date. Live tracking will give you the best idea and it’s fun! The best one I found that would let me track it live for free was the app called Ship Atlas.
I actually tracked it live when it was going through the Panama Canal and then watched the ship in real-time by looking at live webcams in the Panama Canal!!

Haha yah I've only been tracking the sites online, which is only good for near the port when they're in range. I am downloading Ship Atlas now...this will be the longest 2 weeks of my life!

my issue with really dark colors is that the car looks dirty shortly after washing and chips and other paint issues show up really fast.

here a few pics off fun colors —

interior- I prefer light colored interiors that make the environment inviting and spacious feeling. Black dash and chalk seats is nice with any blue color exterior.

Chalk seats, speed blue stitching, interior trim in light colored wood.

my thought is to make a car that I order something special looking and to make it look custom ordered.

life is too short for black, beige, tan, grey or even silver.

gulf blue is also a color I am seriously considering for my wife’s Panamera executive with chalk interior.

In my opinion, Gulf blue looks great with dark accents. I spoke to a couple of SAs about it and they all recommended going dark. The platinum edition looks very sleek on a gulf blue as well as black leather interior. It does look more sporty though so if you are going for something more formal on the executive, chalk will do it.

I’m going to do the ostrich method. Just wait for the dealer to call me and say I can go pick it up.

I like the race-tex interior more than I thought, it definitely gives the car more of sporty look and feel IMO. Unfortunately I drove through couple of thunderstorms so the car is not super clean in the pics and I still have 10 more days before I can wash it because of the ceramic.

This is so sexy. Is that black or charcoal gray? And are those wheels jet black metallic or high gloss black?
