I have to say - i'm hearing good things about these RE71R tires. Will they perform like a true R comp tire though?
I had Pirelli Corsa R comps on my Boss 202 Laguna - they were incredible. Would love to have that tire on the GT350 or something very similar...

I think the RE71R performs as good as the Sport Cup 2, it did not seem to heat cycle out as bad as the SP2 but you will wear them out if you push them hard. They are no match for Hoosiers.

For any of you guys with the GT350, I have a set of Hoosiers with 100 miles on them and a set of new G-Lock race pads I never got to use on my GT350. I am willing to let both items go at half price.
The Hoosiers transformed the car and made it stick like glue.
