Need feedback on the Recaro's. My car came in, its looks great. This is a cruiser, don't need another track car. I ordered the leather seats. As many have said on here, Ford is not yet equipped to sell limited volume models. They more than don't get it. The dealer showed me their paperwork, they (the dealer) did everything right, Ford put the Recaro's (wrong seats) in the car. The dealership called Ford, they wont change it at the dealership, so I said make me another one. They stated they are finishing the current GT350 run and there are none available. Next production begins next March. I said ok, I am a patient idiot, kick me again, I will take it next summer. They said they cannot allocate that far out, so I will just have to wait and see.
So, can anyone give me direct and honest feedback, what would the Recaro's be like on a 4 hr trip with my wife, or on a weekend like the Smokie GT3's?
It looks like my only choice is take it or leave it from Ford. The dealership feels terrible and has worked like you cant believe to help me, but...... as much as Porsche is burned on all of our boards for allocations, processing of, etc, etc, GT3's , RS's, etc., give me Porsche every day of the week. Always speced my car, got what I ordered, about when they told me, no drama.
Drama abounds here!!!!!!!!!!

I picked up my car in Texas and drove back to Calif. When I sat in the car for the first time I thought how will I make it home, i'm a big guy. It turned out to be the most comfortable ride ever I drove 14 hours the first day and felt great, Recarro knows how to build a seat.

I Took Delivery of 2017 GT350R Last Night!
I am very excited to report I took delivery last night of my Avalanche Gray GT350R. Unfortunately the weather in Chicago was cold (~53 degrees) and raining so I did not get to experience it too much. I drove her about 30 miles last night so I don't have a good sense yet of the cars true capabilities. The car came with 5.2 miles on the odometer.
I am very happy to report as well that I do not have any panel gap issues or paint issues, that I could find. I went through the car pretty thoroughly given what I have been reading on the web regarding the same.
This is my first time driving a Shelby. I have owned other Mustangs in the past but not for many years. The car is loud! In fact, it's louder than my 2016 GT3 with RSS exhaust. I love the raspy nature to it and the burbles. Very bad ***. The seats are great and incredibly comfy. I am very impressed with the Sync 3 system as well. It's more intuitive and better than the GT3 or my 2015 M3, which I thought was very intuitive to use. Sync 3 seems to work better and Apple CarPlay is really cool.
I'll give more of an update once I drive her more and I'll try to make fair comparisons to my GT3 and M3, both of which I love.
Anyways, attached are a few obligatory pics. Unfortunately I don't have good ones yet as I didn't want to take pics of the car in the rain.

Congratulations.
I cannot believe that the OEMs still make mistakes like this and install wrong seats! What color is that? GB?
My R has been sitting at FRP waiting for shipment for almost 3 weeks now! It will arrive in time to install the snow plow.
