This past week (Thu 9/12) I happened to be in this nice little town in NH (Hampton) and I saw a C7 with real Michigan plates parked in front of Lamie's Inn. It looked a lot better in real life than the pix...I think that Z0? should look ver nice!

The tractor trailers are leaving en masse with Corvette from BG.
I've not ordered as I don't know if I fit and the Competition seats are not yet available to test fit.

Sat in a new C7 today at a local dealer. Tight fit an I am 6' 200 lbs. Comfortable enough for me, but I would think anyone much over 6' 2" and 230 lbs would feel a bit cramped. Great looking car except for the rear end...it is FUGLY! Really good value but I can't get past the rear end...

Thought this was interesting. For track use, and ultimate performance, the vette crushes it, but I think what this points to is that the Vette, despite all the performance, still lacks that feeling you get from good ole' german engineering.

Just another comparo reminding me why the E92 M3 is such a fantastic DD. When you accept it for what it is, which is not a hard core, track-day special, it's hard to find anything that does it better than the E92 M3.

How are the seats? Are they as flat-bottomed as they look, or is there some lateral support that's not apparent from the photos?

I sat in one at Monterey- 6' 2" 200 lbs, 34 in inseam. Fit just fine. Std. seats of course, but this was in the cars they were using for demonstration laps.

BTW, the best I timed for a full lap was a 1:40- they were specifically told not to make complete hot laps.

Since the sport seats won't have the pass thru for a crotch belt, I am not so sure there is a benefit since the bolsters don't look that aggressive.

They are pretty aggressive; even the stock seats are pretty good. That said, they should have offered up a sub strap provision, right?

Yes, I was thinking the stock seats should be adequate but there doesn't appear to be any sub strap provision on either seat. Kind of an oversight and disappointing.

I think the std seats are suppose to appeal to a w-i-d-e-r consumer.

Supposedly the sports seat have approx 1-1.5 more bolstering.

Both Shroth and others have harnesses that will work safely eliminating any possibility to submarine.

Google it

Way ahead of you guys.
