small world... was in chicago and saw a c7.. checked it out and it starts to unlock/etc.

turn around the VP of GM is there, jim davlin and he was driving/testing vehicle... got to sit in it and rev it... interior is just insane.. whole car looks amazing.

i have a video and pics ill try and grab off my phone.... car sounds like a beast in person too..

best part was the VP was amazing to talk to... really down to earth and loved hearing my ideas.. i expressed how disappointed i was that early order was still not delivered yet... he said mid/end sept. for the early orders.

Must be pre production, should not be the case for the rest of the cars.

You are delirious if you think the paint quality will be any better. Paint quality has been the same for 30 years out of the Bowling Green plant.

Who cares. It should be covered in oil spray and clag marks anyway. If it bothers you that much get it wet sanded.

FWIW, my detailer didn't have a very high opinion of Porsche factory paint quality: http://www.autopia.org/forum/click-b...-car-care.html

Yep, people who care about orange peel shouldn't buy Vettes (or most other production cars nowadays). Most of the orange peel is easily fixed with a good detailer for a few hundred bucks anyway.
