Who's got the prettiest daily driver?

[QUOTE=Canyon56;7211782]I'm loving the pics of some of the older BMWs. I hope the new F10 brings them a bit back to the way they once looked.QUOTE]
Here's a real old one. 1988 E30 325is. 213K miles and absolutely bulletproof. A few mods: Koni yellows, E30 M3 springs/sways/steering rack/aluminum control arms. Handles like an E30 M3, is relatively quick, and is cheap to maintain. I can't think of a more practical DD.
Cheers,
Joe

Funny you should ask... My 300C SRT8 lease ended a few weeks ago so I replaced it with this. I guess this is just another sign of getting older... minus the kids... I've also just purchased another air cooled car, but I'll post those pics in another thread...

Very cool...lots of BMWs on here as DDs. I have a 2002 540i 6-speed that was my daily driver but the 1994 Isuzu Trooper has taken over that slot and the BMW is only for longer trips...no more Home Depot runs!
I could have a car on the prettiest and ugliest thread at the same time!
On another note:
I also worked for Peterbilt for a while in the engineering dept. Designed on and off hiway trucks in the 1978 to 1982 time frame. The hiway conventional modelat the time was the 359 and we just introduced the 362 cabover (with many issues). Was lots of fun designing big ol' trucks and stuff!
Cheers!

On another note:
Tim, nice Petes. I worked for Peterbilt for 10 years so I also have a soft spot for them.
Cheers!

03 M5 as my DD.
I woudn't call it pretty, but it's more fun than the law often allows. I spent some time this weekend in a large snow covered parking lot with a set of snow tires and DSC disengaged. Can you say rooster tails?

Here are both of my daily drivers. I switch back and forth depending on the amount of sunshine, but the M5 usually wins out unless it's warm with low humidity.
