Dear Michael: thanks again for all the help on the trans shift linkage re-build you did for me last year. Re-Read V-2's posts today..Btw..did you re-use the black rubber kinky cover that was on the original for protection? or did you use any heim joint covers? I was thinking mostly of the covers..Does Mc M/Carr carry those too? thanks, Rich Nunn HOPE that all is well in Houston..

    Hello,
I own an 84 944 with the early style DME so I would be interested in the unit. Please email me at pfarah7@yahoo.com with asking price and I'll get back to you soon. Thanks!

Michael..still following your mega squirt thread.. Guess that you are down in Houston now..btw..you can send back my DME anytime..Hoping to get the engine out of the machine shop this weekend..Waiting for the paint to dry...one more coat to go before the final assembly starts. Then back to my shop and the install can begin...pictures to follw since I just got an I phone that I can plug into the computer..old flipper wouldn't handle it...Glad to see that you are making so much progress..so you are now going to run an MAS instead of the Porsche AFM? jus wondering..Rich Nunn

hello again, SH: Just thought I'd catch you up on some latest "doings" on my end..I have recently enlisted the help of an engineer with a machine shop attached. I thought it would be a nice thing to market the little pot metal bellcrank inside the door lock assemblies that always seem to break. We will make the prototypes out of 2024 aluminum. Looks like they will be a bit on the pricey side for what you get, but they will never wear out or break again..Thought about Rennlist and E-bay to name a couple of markets..What do you think about this?

Hello SH: just wondering..have you ever pulled the tank out of your 944? I have two extra wires that were uncovered last week in my tank removal...could they be for a low gas light on the dash? If so, where do they fit on the tank? mine were just a-dangle with no sensor on the tank to plug them into...WTF?

Dear Sausage hacker: how much did you want for your Rogue tuning DME? Think I read somewhere you were going to ditch the whole Bosch outfit. I also understand that Josh is out of the picture at least that was last year....Did the Rogue tuning give you any more pep to the car? Pls tell me all about your experience..still unknown if my DME is OK or if it's toast. need to get it checked out...Thanks Tiger 03447

I might be interested, depending on your timeframe. How much would shipping cost (any idea?) and how much are you looking for?
