Description:

I bought this wheel from PorscheMaster. Never installed. Found a deal on a used 9991.1 steering wheel, and I like the OEM wheel because the leather is soft and the look is more toned down. This will fit a number of models and accepts any 991.2/982 gen airbag. Porschmaster sells airbags below, or you can source used ones on eBay.

I thought the wheels that Porsche Master sells are OEM? Do they look and feel a lot different?

OEM cores. Aftermarket wiring, aftermarket plastics, faux leather instead of real leather. Paddles are bigger/different. That is how there is savings.

Do these still need a GPS adapter for a 991.1 or are they good to go straight from PorscheMaster?

I had a Sport Design wheel in my 981, so switching from that to any newer steering wheel required the gpsadapter. I mean, I didn't try it without, but everyone said it was needed, so I got it and installed it on my wheel. I never installed this wheel. I ended up using a used genuine wheel for the aesthetic differences. You could always try and get a GPS adapter if it doesn't work. I used a PIWIS to program the joker button, but all the other functions worked without programing using the GPSadpater going from my Sport Chrono Sport Design wheel. According to the video, if you are going from a multifunction steering wheel with shift buttons and volume buttons like him then you probably don't need an adapter. Half way down in the comments he said he didn't need an adapter, and in the video, his wheel is the multifunction wheel. What wheel do you have?
