Fully Custom Forged Wheels - MEISTERWERK (NEW THREAD)
For SaleMajor points to talk about, we were mid Chinese new year so things definitely delayed because of it but Jake kept me updated through the whole process. Additionally I had requested a blend of 2 of my favorite wheels and sometimes communication can be a bit tough but he designed exactly what I was looking for.
I know weight was discussed above so let me at my 2 cents here... I was originally looking for something in the super light range 19-20 lbs when he and I started the process, after he and I discussed load ratings and I watched a number of videos and read articles about weight and wheel flexibility I accepted/understood what he meant and agreed to something as close to oem weight as possible.
Apex wheels has a great video on their new Enduro wheels and flexibilty/weight. Not here to thread jack on weight so I'll let you guys look that up on your own.
Ultimately I went .5 inch wider in the front and when weighed on my home scale were .1lbs lighter. I forgot to weight the oem rears so I'll update that later.
In regards to quality and finish-- these are some of the best wheels I've purchased. Between my brother and I, we've owned all kinds of wheels from volks, wedsports, advans, signature, BC forged and coutless apex wheels. And these look much nicer than some of the higher end wheels. Solid to the touch, high quality finish. I also had custom alloy center caps made that look fantastic and snap in tightly into the space. I was really impressed with the overall process. And
I definitely would purchase from him again.
Happy to discuss anything if anyone has any questions or wants any other photos
However we can deviate from that if weight is the primary concern, and match the OE load ratings. I hope that answers the question, feel free to PM us any other questions! Cheers.
Computer simulation and calculated load ratings is all nice and convenient but its not a substitute for real physical impact testing. I recommend people to read up on JWL here: Are Your Wheels Really JWL? (apexwheels.com)

Thank you for your message. While we understand the temptation to cut corners, we ensure every one of our wheel sets meets our strict quality and safety standards. We have comprehensive data on raw material purity and conduct impact testing on various designs. I’d be happy to send you our JWL certifications via PM.
At its core, wheels are a safety component, and we understand that. This is why we implement increased load ratings and other safety measures. Since we specialize in one-off wheels, individualized impact testing isn't feasible... for obvious reasons. Instead, we use computer simulations and extensive data we've collected. Our manufacturing partner has over 15 years of experience producing wheels for many well-known wheel brands,
I own and track my 981 GT4 and have been tracking for the better part of three years. I understand the importance of wheel safety, as I've bent wheel sets, debeaded, and had leakage issues in the past from other manufacturers. I personally track on my set of Meisterwerks wheels, as do many of my clients.
My family has been in manufacturing for nearly three decades and has established strong connections in China. We've had direct involvement in the manufacturing process from start to finish. Please feel free to PM us with any questions or concerns. I'd be happy to discuss further.
Have a nice weekend, and thank you!
Cheers,
Jake
