The pros, I couldn't really be happier with the final design, i absolutely love them. I got a lightweight custom set of wheels for cheaper than options like the bbs fir.

The cons, while Jake is a super polite, his follow ups werent always the best. As an example, forgetting to send tracking information.

For centerlock wheels the options are somewhat limited, and there was something negative about all the options I found. Some where simply way too expensive, and for the rest it was mainly that I didn't 100% love the designs. Jake got me a set of wheels that I love at a more reasonable cost, but the process did have a couple of hiccups, however jake worked with me to make it right.

the wheels aren't painted the right color so Jake offered to have them repainted or a small discount (i decided to roll the dice and see how they would look) One of my wheels had an issue, the wheel painter seemingly got paint on a mounting pad so they took an orbital sander to the mounting pad. This caused the mounting pad to not be flat, and it was lopsided causing runout when the wheel turned. Jake was a very stand up guy and made sure the situation was rectified without giving me a big headache.

I don't think my experience is normal in that i had issues, but say those things so you know that you may experience an issue but Jake stands behind his wheels. My advise is just to know that anything custom is more likely to experience a hiccup, so have patience in the process. Also make sure you clearly stare your priorities up front (weight vs design) so that his designs meet your needs.

Again I love my wheels, it took longer than expected but I'm happy with the end result.
Hey man!

Thanks so much for your honest feedback—I really appreciate it. The issues you experienced are definitely one-off situations, but as a smaller and newer wheel company, occasional hiccups can happen. What’s most important is how we handle them, and I’m glad we could make things right and ensure that you’re happy with the final result. I personally stand behind every wheel set to ensure it meets our standards and that our clients are completely satisfied. The wheels look absolutely stunning on your car! Thanks again for your support, patience, and understanding—drive it well!

Do you happen to have a picture of this set on someones car? im hoping to grab a set for my '99 996 Aerokit in the near future.
Hi there!

Yes, the beauty of custom one-off wheels is dialing in the perfect sizing every time without the need for spacers. Every set is built to order to ensure a perfect fit. We did rename some sets within the catalog, and our website is the most up-to-date. However, custom designs are always welcomed as well! Thanks for keeping us in mind.

Cheers,
Jake

I'll add a few pics of my car with Jake's wheels. He was so easy to deal with and put up with me changing cars 3 times before we decided on the wheel spec. Really love these and get a ton of complements.

Here's a review and pictures of my wheels that just got delivered. When I first saw the 992 gt3 I knew I wanted one(but can't afford one). But also, I loved the wheels they came with so the next best thing until I can afford the entire gt3 was to get a similar set of wheels, stepped down to 19" for better tire selection and performance for my gt4.

Communication with Jake and Meisterwerk: 10/10. He replied quickly to all my messages, within 24 hours for sure but often in just minutes or few hours.

Wheel weight: 10/10 in that my expectations were exceeded. I believe the OEM 981 gt4 wheel weights are:
20x8.5 +61 23.24lbs Front
20x11 +50mm 25.86lbs Rear

The new wheel specs are
19x9 +50 19.9lbs Front
19x10.5 +44 22.18lbs Rear

The weight savings is 3.34lbs per front wheel, or 6.68lbs for both fronts. 3.68lbs per rear wheel, or 7.36lbs for both Rears.

Wheel finish: 10/10. Came out better than expected. Granted, the silver finish is probably not a complex or difficult finish to do, but it looks extremely well done and I don't see any imperfections so I'm impressed all around.

Overall impressions: I would 100% buy from Jake again. I'm very impressed with the wheels.
